Look forward to welcome Christmas this year, believe it or not I have already been thinking what will become my resolution for the next year. Yes, I have to gladly confess that for me, Christmas is the most exciting moment to celebrate through the year to reset everything.

By the way, each year, when the weather gets cold, one of my favorite thing to do is look for anything warm to dramatize the season as my routine to welcome Christmas. This Christmas, I'm obsessed with any "knitted" things. Either a sweater, hoodie, cardigan, or jumper, I would like to include them to my wish list and wish that real Santa would be knocking on my door bringing them to me.

Knitwear is ready to wear, comfortable, yet warming of course. The only problem is sometimes if you choose the wrong pair combination, you will look totally boring...

As you guys might know that Jean Paul Gaultier has showed his last ready-to-wear collection recently in September this year following his decision to focus on couture and fragrances. "At the same time the world of ready-to-wear has evolved considerably. Commercial constraints, as well as the frenetic pace of collections don't leave any freedom, nor the necessary time to find fresh ideas and to innovate." says Gaultier. 

As he unveiled his 2015 Spring/Summer collection, sadly, it's probably best to say goodbye to such strong daily outwear collection he had established. Talking about the collection anyway, Gaultier plays with intricate patterns, graphics, and colorful Egyptian-inspired print from leather jacket to sheer shirt.

When I first saw several outfits of this collection, "urban" was the first word came into my mind. But the more I investigated them, I found that Lanvin was trying to give something to each man without losing the elegancy. 

From dropped crotch pant, knitwear, trench coat, you name it... They all represent the simplicity yet elegant outfit and some of them are symmetrically stunning.

For the last 2 decades, top labels all over the world have been competing to show their wild side through the animal prints on their collections. Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, and Burberry for instance are some of the top labels who prove that animal exist on runway. Maybe some of you guys are wondering if there are furs on the collection or not. Well, today I'm not going to take it as a problem as I would like to invite us for a moment to enjoy the beauty of animal prints on an outfit.

Personally, I like animal prints, but I used to say to myself that animal prints were too much to wear at work or another formal events, until I changed my mind...

Is it ok to wear animal prints at work? For me, Definitely!..

Personally, I have several tips below to make you more confident wearing them at work:

1. First thing first, have your own definition of style and be yourself. That's the most important thing. 

2. Choose the colors that suit you. Try to explore as long as it makes you feel comfortable.

3. Well if you think that your office is a jungle, at least you are not. Don't wear more than 2 different animal prints at the same time.

4. It's not always about the shirt, or blazer, or tops. Play along with accessories, shoes or bags.

4. Sneakers

Though many times are mistaken with runners, or training shoes, I bet everyone loves sneakers to be worn casually in doing informal things. 

Have you ever been in a situation where you met some people you just knew who kept wondering and asking what your ethnicity is? Well, it happened to me a lot. It was just bit annoying when people treat you based on your eye shape, your skin tone, or your hair color perhaps. I don't judge anyway, everybody has their own opinion, right??. But what makes it interesting, ethnicity can be very colorful, fun and elegant at the same time in fashion, which is related to my post this time. 

Well for me, I have some ethnic outfits in my closet and like to wear them walking down town. Below perhaps some ideas for you who would like to try to play with ethnic patterns for your daily outfits....Well, don't ask me what ethnicity this outfits come from...Please don't shower them with some questions used to be asked to me...At least, not the clothes...

It doesn't need to be patterns or paintings all the time, a small part or texture of each outfit is important to define it. Let say obi/sash on kimono, a sherwani texture on Indian clothing, or the worldwide mandarin collar...
